A Proposed Signal Processing Model Of Human Spatial Hearing Using Interaural Cross Correlation and Auditory Glimpsing To Estimate Green's Functions

The Wave Sciences team authors an article describing a signal processing model inspired by human spatial hearing to solve the "Cocktail Party Problem" - isolating one voice among many in noisy environments.  Their approach uses Green's Function spatial models calculated from acoustic data to separate sound sources in reverberant environments.  The model incorporates interaural cross correlation and auditory glimpsing concepts, demonstrating effectiveness in multi-talker scenarios while showing alignment with known human hearing attributes.  See here for the full article.
